It was a really bad day that’s all I can say about it
Try as I might I don’t feel right about it
And when they took me in my head was in a spin about it
And when I looked at him he thought I was dim about it

SHIMSGROUP stands for Scottish Head Injury Music Support Group.
Our group is comprised of traumatic head or brain injury survivors. We meet to rehearse twice a week in Scotland and aim to play live to an audience at least once a month.
Our target audience is primarily those affected by head or brain injuries and those who care for them. Our mission is to raise awareness of this invisible condition through our music which reflects the journey that we have all been on.
We look forward to sharing our music and experiences globally to reach out to people affected by head or brain injuries who may not be able to visit us in Scotland.
