At a time when the world is at the edge of dark
upheavals, La Forge continues to build its own
metaverse by sharing with you its latest gems from
French club music. In the grooves of jungle, techno
or trance, this opus takes the form of an initiatory
journey where the reveries of some and others
merge in joyful zones of turbulence.

Named for the Japanese art of repairing pottery, Kintsugi symbolizes beauty in imperfection. The EP delivers a dark, futuristic soundscape, blending deep, brooding basslines with intricate rhythms and occasionally beautiful, atmospheric elements. Showcasing the innovative styles of both labels, Kintsugi EP is available everywhere on June 7th.

Tokyo-based producer/dj SEIMEI makes his Sorry Records debut with four slamming tracks touching on techno, breaks, robot vocal electro, and party rocking house. Only the second Sorry Records release from a non-US based artist in our nearly ten years of existence, Seimei's Tokyo Funky Breaks EP features a slammin remix from Seimei's brother and fellow young Japanese legend Carpainter in addition to a bonkers Florida Breaks remix from our friend and Baltimore-born, Brooklyn-based club music star JIALING (a.k.a. BIG J).

Co-founder of seminal Japanese dance music collective/label TREKKIE TRAX, Seimei has been a tireless force in the Japanese dance underground for over a decade now. TREKKIE TRAX's catalog is absolutely massive -- 190 releases and counting, over 800 tracks of all shapes and sizes released with DIY care and love over the last 10 years. Seimei's productions have been released on superb labels like Moveltraxx, WET TRAX, Midnight Cult, Top Billin Music, Akihabara Heavy Industry Inc. He's remixed Japanese techno legend Ken Ishii, done guest mixes for both Hessle Audio, LUCKYME® on Rinse FM, and Mix Up Exclusives on triple J presented by Nina Las Vegas.

Seimei also runs a monthly radio program ‘TREKKIE TRAX RADIO’ on the Japanese biggest dance music radio station ‘Block.fm’ and has a residency on Gilles Peterson’s Worldwide FM.

808 Catz is a collaborative project between Filth Inc. founder Aniket Dabholkar (Full Motion Disaster) & Satyajeet Prabhu (Barasingha).

Coming from Lo-Fi House and Drum & Bass respectively, the two decided to meet midway at the 160 bpm mark to serve up some jazz-inspired footwork and instrumental hip-hop

As a follow up to their Vol. 1 EP released in 2020 on Filth Inc, 'How U Do It' sees the duo serve a nocturnal blend of jazz infused footwork, halftime dnb and juke with an evident early Philip D Kick influence as a cherry on top, and could be interpreted as a soundtrack to a neo-noir mystery movie.

The track is best enjoyed on a cold rainy evening in a smoky backroom of a jazz bar with whiskey on the rocks.

En nuestra última emisión del 2024 presentamos a Ulular, co-fundador del sello AMIGOS DE LA LIMA, un dj y productor de Santiago Del Estero actualmente viviendo en Córdoba. Lo caracteriza una búsqueda centrada  en los ritmos y patrones del Sur Global. Recientemente pasó por las cabinas del Fantasma de la BULLYBASS (legacy) y las Total Madness producidas por su propio sello. 
Su participación en la R.A.S.H.A.D. marca su primera presentación en una fiesta en Buenos Aires, con un set especial haciendo hincapié en los sublows: dub, dub-techno y mucho bass. Actualmente, se encuentra produciendo un EP que verá la luz por Alta Costura en 2025.

Glasgow based producer, Galaxian, is set to drop the 11th release of Helena Hauff’s Return to Disorder imprint. “Paradise Engineering” is an ambitiously psychedelic piece of machine mastery that will be right at home on Hauff’s label, with which she set out to bring “punk rock and techno together” in 2015. The label’s name refers to the reactionary post-WW1 art movement, Return to Order, which called for a rejection of the avant-garde in favor of conservatism and classicism. Return to Disorder has embraced experimentation and genre bending with releases from the likes of Children of Leir, Morah and Umwelt. Galaxian’s proximity to the sharp edge of quantum chaos and belief in the anarchism of nature make him a fitting addition to the Hamburg based label.

“Paradise Engineering”, is a lot to unpack. Within its four tracks, Galaxian lays out an intricate web of self, spiritual and socio-technic exploration and critique. Producing the cover art alone took him on a 12 month journey, while meditating on questions of inner-alchemy, freedom and transcendence. The music covers extensive sonic topography with each of the four distinct tracks building a critical tension while creating counterpoint for one another. Violently intricate drum machine work stakes out the boundaries of “Paradise Engineering’s” autonomous zone, where Galaxian lays out a dense thesis on the harrowed human condition. The tracks leave the listener much to ponder, especially with lines like, “You have been deprived of knowledge by frequency control” and “All possibilities exist”. Synth and bass lines emerge oscillating around each other from deep space on the EP’s second A-side, “Mutual Arising”, clean and crisp supporting elements to stratospheric strings. It gets significantly more aggressive on the B-side with “Life Force” drilling through neck-snapping electro drums with acid patterns, whose methodic dynamism and complexity begins to sound like inter-galactic alien transmissions when blown through a dizzying effect chain. Comfortably between literal and abstract, complex and elegant, “Paradise Engineering” is a deep and rewarding listen.
