A pleasure to hear this mix by La Serpiente (Marco Segato). We’ve been in touch years back when I was booking the first Zaliva-D European tour.  Marco brought Zaliva-D to the, now permanently closed, Macao in Milano.  His journey in life brought him recently to Amsterdam. 

Marco Segato is a sonic explorer, producer and live performer currently based in Amsterdam, Netherlands. He's the co-founder of Rete Neurale Milano E.S.T. - an event born in the infamous Milanese multi-cultural space Macao - and curator of the mix series Empty Signal Transmission. He has been a Red Bull Music Academy alumnus in 2016 in Montréal (Canada) and graduated in Audio Production at SAE Institute Milan in 2017. During the last years Marco released his music under four different monikers: La Serpiente, MS, Narvalos (with Alessio Costantino) & eoobe (with Elina Tapio). Across these projects his sound maintains a sense of mysticism brewing with eerie tension, influenced and incorporating sounds of broken beats, post-industrial experimentations, and ritualistic elements to conjure psychic immersion. He produces and performs live sets with a combination of analogue and digital hardware, with a sonic outcome that is always saturating the mind with extra-musical ideas.

Saeko Killy is a Berlin-based DJ, vocalist, and producer. She has been active in the Tokyo scene as a DJ. After moving to Berlin in 2018 Saeko found herself in the orb of Club Sameheads, where she became known as a DJ and live performer. After releasing her first EP "Dancing Pikapika" with the label Chill Mountain from Osaka in 2021, followed a Jam session during the pandemic lockdown, resulting in the album 'Morphing Polaroids' produced by soFa elsewhere being released with Bureau B in 2023.

Our next mix was created by Samira. 
Based in Rotterdam, she is not only active in arts and culture as the owner of Bureau Convoi, a lobbying agency for cultural organizations and working at Nest, an Art Space in The Hague, but she is also extremely active in the music scene. 
Be it at Operator Radio, where she also has her own show called "Ever so often", at the Grauzone Festival or as a great DJ. 

Her mix reflects her musical diversity in a perfect way. Menacing, sluggish beats, haunting synths and powerful electro crafted all together into a dark journey. Enjoy.

Produced in the beginning of 2019 in Huehuetenango(Guatemala) and finalized in spring 2019 in Verona(Italy), the 2x12" LP draws on the project's roots in order to locate itself in the modern day. string of club bangers combined with convulsive breaks and bleepy motifs dive into electro-acid-wave. The 10 tracks includes a collaboration with 80s italian new wave band Victola. Victrola is the duo of Antonio "Eze" Cuscinà and Carlo Smeriglio from Messina, Italy. The band formed in 1979 but shortly thereafter relocated to Florence take part in a rich musical scene alongside Neon, Pankow, Alexander Robotnick, and Diaframma.
