[2014.04.23] Rebirth EP - Short Album Preview -

In 2013, Shiroi Noizu temporarily ceased activities as a three-members unit because of Raikoh's physical issues. Now it's 2014 and they are finally back all together! Let's celebrate this new start with a release properly called Rebirth!
This is also a commemoration of the beautiful track that gives the title to this EP, because it has been released back in 1984 as the opening track of The Castle, an amazing and obscure record by the misterious and unknown Tomo Akikawabaya. 30 years later, Bisso decided to record this 12 minutes-long song to let it bring new life and to try to spread Tomo Akikawabaya's music to more people on Earth.

This EP is available in two versions:
- LIMITED EDITION (15 copy only on cassette tape in special wooden box with tons of goods)
- REGULAR EDITION (8cm CD)

We recorded this back in 2013 with our mighty keyboard since we didn't know how to compose with chiptune programs yet.

This is a cover of 聖少女領域 (Seishoujo Ryouiki) by ALI PROJECT. Actually, this version has been inspired by a remix of the original song made by KONEKO PROJECT and included in the compilation "Exit Trance Presents Code Speed アニメトランス Best".

聖少女領域 (ALI PROJECT cover)

"Shiroi Noizu vs Starving GOGO" is the last fatigue of 白いノイズ, this time working together with Starving GOGO, one of the coolest micromusicians of the Italian chiptune scene.
This album has such a long history behind it, since it was at first meant to be released in 2013 when Shiroi Noizu started to use FamiTracker and LSDj to compose songs. Since then the concept changed quite a lot, tracks were discharged or rewritten out of scratch and a special "video/game" was made in 2016 as a prelude to this album, which you can watch here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jz8gFU1HXBk

The album has been released on 2018.2.17
Limited edition of 20 copies stored inside big VHS boxes. Every copy comes with a game boy game cartridge from Japan and LOTS of inserts!

This is a funny experiment casually born during the mixing session of ノイローゼ (かまいたち 8 bit cover) due to an inexplicable rate drop.

We just love the soundtrack of Pokémon Red/Blue/Yellow old games for the Game Boy. This is a "3-hands" piano version of the 8-bit intro of the game. Composer of the soundtrack is Masuda Junichi (増田 順一). The recording has been made by Aster and Bisso in Miesbach, Germany (2012.08.16). This is meant to be a preview. There are some errors, but who cares...

We'll soon record a new version with all our instruments.

This is a cover of a nice song by the great 戸川純 (Jun Togawa) from her album 極東慰安唱歌 (Kyokutou Ian Shouka), released in 1985.

Everything has been recorded by Bisso. Instrumental part is made with a CASIO VL-1, our beloved '80s 8bit keyboard. Vocals are made with the Vocaloid software (初音ミク -Hatsune Miku- voice type). This is our first attempt using Vocaloid.

This is going to be part of our new release (only on cassette tape).
