Shirosky the self proclaimed "First Female Jazz Hip-Hop Musician/Producer in South Korea" has teamed up with rapper MYK. MYK hails from the Bay Area but moved to Seoul, Korea, where he was introduced to Tablo of Epik High. The two immediately connected and began writing music together. He was later made a honorary member of Epik High and has continued to collaborate with artists like Kero One, Dumbfoundead, Tablo amongst others. Together he and Shirosky teamed up to release this album to all corners of the world. 레위니옹 섬 출신의 판화 아티스트 Yannick Candin과 함께 작업한 프로젝트입니다 =) 2017년 서울에서 함께 만난 것을 기록하기 위해 만들었습니다! 곡 작업은 2013년 경 인터넷에 올려진 서로의 작품을 통해 야닉과 처음 알게되었을때 스케치해두고 아껴두었다가 이제서야 공개하게 되었네요!  정성스럽게 재료를 조각해서 종이위에 찍어낸 Yannick Candin씨의 작품이 정말 아름답습니다! =)

Mp3나 Wav 형태로 연주되는 제 음악을 악보화 할 수 있는 방법이 없을지 연구하다 페니오빠 그리고 소리비작가와 함께 간단한 그래픽 노테이션 애니메이션을 작업해보았습니다. 올해는 앨범 대신 이렇게 새 작업으로 인사드려요! 따뜻하고 건강한 연말 되시길!

소리의 시각화는 현대에 다양한 방식으로 이루어지고 있습니다. 과거 도형을 나열하던 것에서 시작해 이제는 다양한 영상물이 제작되며 사람들을 즐겁게 만들고 있습니다. 소리비작가는 그 중 음악을 이미지화 하는 것에 매료되어 작업을 이어나가고 있고 이번 작업은 시로스카이와 Pe2ny가 함께 만든 Car의 애니메이션악보를 작업했습니다. 처음에 도식화를 생각했지만 곡의 분위기를 구체적인 이미지로 보여주고 싶었습니다. 그래서 작업하는 방식의 애니메이션에 요소요소를 음악과 맞물리게 하여 유기적으로 음악을 표현하는 악보로 제작했습니다.   어둡고 긴 터널을 빠져나오는 차 처럼, 어둡고 끝없이 길기만 한 이 시기에 언젠가 끝이 있으리라는 마음을 담았습니다. 우리는 이전의 모습을 가진 미래로 갈 것 입니다.
