It is a collaboration with my friend Kushri Devi, an amazing professional Kirtan singer (a devotional prayer tradition in Hinduism), and is an ode to surrender, and the desperation and subsequent trust one feels after trying everything and finally putting things in the hands of something bigger than oneself.

“Grandfather” is a cry to the divine: a song of devotion, surrender and awakening.

In Hindu philosophy, the Ganga river is seen as both mother and purifier, and its flow inspired the imagery of this song.

The voices of the ego… my restless, numbing self… always try to keep me asleep. But the voice of the grandfather cuts through: awake, steady and true. This song is about hearing that voice, even in the chaos, and letting it bring you back to who you really are.

At its heart, “Grandfather” is about reincarnation as the soul’s true origin; the cycle we return to not as punishment, but as another chance to walk with the divine. It’s a love song to God, to Krishna, to the eternal truth that never leaves.

Musically, this is one of my favorite songs on ‘Indigo’. With layered screams, heavy guitars and surging rhythms, the production mirrors the tug-of-war between ego and surrender. But underneath the distortion, the song holds stillness. The stillness of a voice that never fades.

The Light That Wakes Me

"Loser" is for the ones who never fit in… and finally stopped trying to.

I grew up in three countries and always felt like an outsider in every room. I was the weird kid in class, the quiet first chair in orchestra and the hopelessly awkward kid with girls. There was no box that would accept me or check all the realities I had lived through. When I moved to America, I didn’t quite fit in with the Indian kids or the white kids.

When you feel like a misfit for so long, eventually you just have to learn to lead yourself. My love for making music, putting my inner child first and expanding my sense of self through meditation, all helped me become the person I am today, defined by self-belonging and authenticity. Now, I invite you to join me.

This chapter is not about giving up. It’s about opting out of the carnival ride of others’ labels and expectations and setting your own pace.

Welcome to the club. Losers only.

Musically, Loser blends raw, guitar-driven rock with synths, storytelling and anthemic hooks. It's emotionally charged and built to move. The production leans into distortion and warmth, giving misfits what I hope is a sound to scream along to.

“Krishna’s Theme” is one of the most pop-leaning songs on my album ‘Indigo’. It’s a mix of ambient verses, Indian instrumental riffs, soft vocals and beats you can move to. But beneath the sound lies something deeper: a prayer.

I wrote this song in moments of fear and anxiety. There were nights I woke up sweating, restless and overwhelmed. During those moments, the presence of the higher power stayed with me, whispering strength when everything felt heavy.

The chorus is a reminder that we are never truly alone. And as the song builds, it closes with the ancient chants of Hare Krishna, Hare Rama… a return to the voice that has always carried us through life, even when we were lost.

At its heart, “Krishna’s Theme” is about remembering that we are seen, guided and protected, even in our darkest hours.

What's Up (Feat. David Meli) [No Saints Remix]

I humbly present “Turiya”.  

This record samples one of my favorite Bollywood songs, "Kehna Hi Kya" from the 1995 film "Bombay," and composed by the brilliant A.R. Rahman.  "Kehna Hi Kya" means "What to say?" in Hindi – a lovesong ode to the wisdom of silence.  I am gaining a greater and greater respect for the subtle languages of energy and intention, and their ability to communicate far more powerfully than words alone.  

In Hindu philosophy, “Turiya” translates loosely into “pure consciousness,” describing the fundamental state of peaceful awareness that pervades all living beings – the consciousness that precedes any overlay of thought or emotion.  If that last sentence sounds like spiritual pseudoscience, consider for a moment that you can actually notice your thoughts and feelings.  The part of you that is able to notice such objects of the mind is “Turiya” and it is inherently at peace, like a mirror that remains unstained by whatever horrendous or spectacular images it reflects.  

The more I meditate and connect to this blissful space, the more I find myself deeply relating to the question: “What to say?”  …. Anyways, that’s how I came up with the name for this song, but really I just wanted to make a weird and dark deep house version of this dope Hindi record.  Hope you like it – let me know what you think in the comments.
