I have always loved this song and heard a gorgeous cover by Burner on /r/recordings. With her permission, I added my own vocals and did a few audio effect edits to level things out. I am massively in love with the idea of two women singing the same plaintive cry for mercy to a fellow woman and really hope I did it justice.

I created this audio in response to the Shoulda/Coulda/Woulda prompt on /r/audiocandy. I wrote the story, recorded the vocals on the rooftop of my workplace (apologizing now for the quality), and added background instrumentals by the Rolling Stones to emphasize the three-part story's theme.
