It’s Planet Masquerade,
wherein the centre of the stage
sits a Monkey and his gun
wearing nothing but the sun.

And on his side,
a man in white
is sucking Mangos from the Moon,
even though everyone knows
they can’t be ripe in June.

But with a Super-Monkey cape
the other Monkeys can’t escape
and they resign themselves
to living on Planet Masquerade.

Pink suits and neon lights
and yet they’re suckers for disguise.
Why’d they try to dream? 
They know that pigs can’t fly.

There’s a shotgun making smoke.
Hands up.
You’re not allowed to lose control.

young Beelzebub hasn’t yet had his day.
