C1 Steve O'Sullivan - Where's Burt (Thor Reconstruction) (Sushitech)

Now! This one, all over the place as it may be, is my BABY. Took a self-imposed 72hr skill-up challenge, where I decided I was going to make a track on Ableton (also learn how to use the DAW) and use no more than one audio sample for it. I should mention I know 0 about music theory. Don't even know something as basic as the scale! But you gotta do what you gotta do and I made sex music. Wish I had more experience on me to perfect it, but it's every bit as fabulous as a track can be <3 hope you enjoy it!

I'm hooked and this is a new addiction that's going to take me down. A friend mentioned he'd start producing by remixing this vintage Indian detergent ad jingle and I heard that as a challenge. 5 days later we have a groovy track that uses 8 short samples (I designed the drum, pads and bass, of course) from the jingle and makes your head spin. Totally club ready. Relate maxxxxx? <3 hope you enjoy it!

Washing Powder 120Hz

There's something new to discover every day! I want to get to the bottom of synthesis, want to understand every single tweak and twist of a knob. So I just randomly create patterns and start applying patches to it. Watch a lot of tutorials on YouTube, 'course. Tried to learn how to produce an acid squelch through this one. These sounds were heard on through the abuse of the Roland TB 303 in the 80s-- something that largely came to be known as the Acid House debacle-- but it also gave birth to pure electronic ecstasies that eventually started being incorporated in all genres, including one of my obsessions-- Electro Funk. So if I'm going to make Electro from scratch (this techno track is 100% me), gotta complete a hundred such practice sessions first. This track was also my first attempt at drawing frequency automation (hahaha!, only the high pitched acid clip, you'll notice), and it's been fun. To more refined sounds 100 such sessions forth, and no not all of them will make it to this page, space is limited :P.

Tek It Away

Sat on this one for almost two weeks so it's only fair that I start sharing creations that I feel will add value to the lives of anyone that listens to them. Mental health is a subject that's very close to my heart. You may not pay attention to what I'm saying but you'll take advice from a star, so be it. Most of my work from now on will be exploring the scope of mental health. This practise session has been a most satisfying one. In all honesty, I'll say I'm still producing stripped off tracks, something I'm not entirely happy with because I want to beef them up before I can claim the stripped off territory. But, all in good time, I suppose. This track is 90/10 (90% me and 10% vocals that I knicked off of YouTube. Hope you guys like it <3

I've been waiting for this.
October tunes have been building in my head since earlier this year and I'm delighted to finally leave this out here.
I've had a lot of help on this track. A lot.
A producer tipped me off on the jungle/electro breaks in the track and another helped fine tune it.
But nothing beats the hours my beautiful singer friend, Sindhura, put in here with me in building one variation after another and in perfect harmony.
