Absolutely love the temperament of this raag and rendition!

I had first heard this bandish is the voice of Ustad Bismillah Khan's shehnai, but seem to have misplaced the recording - hearing this beautiful raag in full vistaar for the first time since my childhood days. Thank you!

This drut bandish is more commonly heard but beautifully executed, especially the antara. My best regards and encouragement to you!

Har Ek Baat

Born in classical city, Dharwad, Karnataka, in1995, Shivani started learning Hindustani vocal music when she was 8. Simultaneously, she was learning Kathak and Bharatnatyam(Indian classical Dance forms). Now she is focusing on music only.
Initially, she started learning Hindustani vocal music from Pandit Chandrashekhar Puranikmath. Now she is learning under the able guidance of Pandit Kaivalyakumar Gurav, one of the legends of Indian Classical music.
Shivani is admired by many great musicians and she has performed on many prestigious dais like Bhartiya Sangeet Vidyalaya, Center for Kannada and Culture, Avani Rasikaranga, Dharwad Utsav and many more. She secured first for the state in this field which the State Government had organized the Classical competition. She is awarded with the CCRT(Center for Cultural resources Training) of the Central Government. She has been awarded the 'Kalashree' award by the state.
She secured first for the nation in Hindustani vocal music, in the 17th National Youth Festival which was held in Mangalore in the month of January 2012.
