Beneath the moonlit sky, where the air is thick with the scent of damp earth and ancient pine, there lies a forest unlike any other. This is the Indigenous Forest, a living, breathing realm steeped in the wisdom of millennia. It is here, between the tall, gnarled trees, where the veil between worlds grows thin, and the creatures of myth and legend roam free. As the golden rays of dawn pierced through the canopy, a chorus of birdsong filled the air, weaving an intricate tapestry of melody. The villagers nearby often spoke of it in hushed tones, warning tales of strange sounds echoing between the trunks, a harmony that seemed to grow and shift as night falls, as if the very woods were alive with music. The wisdom of the Ancient Ones, the elders of the forest, is whispered by the wind, carried on the rustling leaves, and echoed in the songs of the nocturnal creatures. Each step you take is a step deeper into the Sacred Realm, where time bends, and the rules of the material world no longer apply. Subterranean Blues is a collection of 10 compositions stitched together to form a compilation of various artists from around the world. 

This project draws its inspiration from the Blues, a movement with its root in African musical tradition, whose musical form has become ubiquitous in various forms of contemporary music including jazz and rock and roll, with its impact on modern music tradition reflected in various spaces of electronic music as well. 

Subterranean is a reference to an inconspicuous mode of message delivery, the importance of the message over the messenger.

Here is our final release for this crazy year 2020. A digital-only compilation carefully crafted by our label heads Emiel and Daksinamurti. This release is the first chapter “ winter” of a new series covering the seasons. While the whole world seems to go crazy - we stayed active, focused on what we love most, and spent a lot of time working on music. In a time where we could slow down, focus on ourselves, and travel to our inner states many chose the path to a parallel universe full of stupidity, propaganda, and misinformation. Lost souls in an ever-evolving world which simple minds can’t comprehend. With this release, we shift the focus to ancient and archaic techniques of ecstasy and honor those who work for the benefit of others in these times. Amba Saman (The Big Shaman) is in homage to those healers who have been with us since the birth of mankind and who's rich and colorful tradition is still alive today, visualized in the stunning cover by Rosenfeldtown. 12 Trance inducing tunes, mastered by Scorb (TRK Mastering) to send you through the three worlds and help you see the light at the end of the tunnel.
