As heard on the Live 105 FM show "Subsonic", played by Party Ben/Miles The Dj and "Soundcheck" by Aaron Axelsen.

After hearing this local SF bands song "Day Dreams" a few weeks ago, I instantly fell in love and wanted to do a mix of it. I ended up using a few of my favorite sections of the record and giving it a nice uplifting Indie/Nu Disco feel. Seit mehr als zehn Jahren ist Rich Vom Dorf schon als Musiker, DJ, Veranstalter und in allen möglichen anderen Berufsformen des Nachtlebens unterwegs und auch wenn er eigentlich nur schwarz trägt, ist er, insbesondere in seiner Heimatstadt Hamburg, bekannt wie ein bunter Hund. Die Bezeichnung bunt, trifft auch vorzüglich auf seine Sets zu. Rolliger Techhouse, funky House und deepe Tracks, vereint er in diesen zu einer satten Portion musikalischer Happyness. Fast an jedem Wochenende steht er, innerhalb und außerhalb der Hansestadt, hinterm DJ-Pult und wenn er nicht im Club an den Knöpfen schraubt, dann macht er das daheim im Studio. Mit seinen aktuellen Produktionen für „Strictly Rhythm“ und sein eigenes Label „Tächno“, tummelte er sich gerade in den Beatport Housecharts und den Playlisten vieler namhafter Künstler. In den neunzigern war dies für ihn alles noch ein feuchter Teenagertraum, den er heute als seine/n Beruf(ung) ausleben darf.

Peter Cruseder and his La Rochelle Band return with their 2nd release on Etage Noir Recordings. With it they show how the act has been able to develop an independent and easily recognizable sound of their own. The new two-track EP "Burning In My Soul" (with the B-side "Can You Feel It") is the perfect accompaniment for the first rays of sunshine. With a dreamy melancholy the two tracks groove themselves into gear and are more than ready to hit the club dance floors, outdoor parties and Sunday afternoon raves on the beach. 
The title track "Burning In My Soul" revolves around a distinctive vocal sample and allows plenty of room for forays into the world of pop. "Can You Feel It" is dominated by a driving baseline which will undoubtedly bring life into club dance floors and living rooms across the world. 
The La Rochelle Band has been able to impress thousands of fans over the last year with their live performances, especially as a support act for Parov Stelar. With the release of their new EP, the excitement around the band looks more than certain to increase!
