@souqrecordss' latest release comes from NAKRIZ, a Syrian trio of classically trained musicians, a live electronic brand of whirling tones and tastes. Reinterpreting a folk song named "Moniety", originating form the east side of Syria, Al Raqqah city. In their interpretation, Nakriz infuse the traditional lyrics & instrumentations with electronic influences from their new home Berlin. conveying their vision of a modern wedding rave. At the heart of it, "Al-Furat" resonates with you, to uncover the deeper messages that lie beneath the harmonies and rhythms. 

"Al-Furat" is the first single of our upcoming album Masrahiya (Arabic for theater play) delves deep into the blurred boundaries between reality and fiction, where the lines of truth and imagination intertwine like a mesmerizing dance. 

We want to take you with us on a journey through the three captivating chapters unfold, tragedy, politics, and irony. You chose which song represents what, as Reality is in the eye of the beholder.
