Проблемы взаимопонимания сопровождают человека с момента его появления на свет. Нередко одними из самых травматичных становятся отношения матери и ребенка. Желание ребенка заслужить любовь родителя любыми способами способно привести к внутренней катастрофе, всепоглощающей пустоте, отречению от себя. Ответственность и обязанности родителя часто мешают принимать своего ребенка таким, какой он есть.
Саунд-артист Александр Шляхов и видео-художник Ксения Кирсанова пробуют осмыслить опыт взаимопонимания, инаковости и потери связи с помощью антропоморфизма родственных экспонатов, где мать – пишущая машинка, а ребенок – ноутбук. Эти герои одновременно и безмолвные зрители, смотрящие фильм о своих отношениях в ожидании разрешения конфликта и счастливого конца.

Problems of mutual understanding accompany a person from the moment of his birth. Often one of the most traumatic is the relationship between mother and child. A child's desire to earn his parent's love by any means can lead to an inner disaster, an all-consuming emptiness, an abandonment of himself. The responsibilities and duties of a parent often prevent one from accepting his or her child for who he or she is.
Sound artist Alexander Shlyakhov and video artist Xenia Kirsanova try to make sense of the experience of mutual understanding, otherness and loss of connection through the anthropomorphism of related exhibits, where the mother is a typewriter and the child is a laptop. These characters are both silent spectators, watching the film of their relationship, waiting for the resolution of the conflict and the happy ending.
