With the reopening of clubs and festivals, Avidus present their debut EP for Oddity, loaded with tracks ready for the dancefloor.

The lead track,  Prometheus , is a weapon for the peak time of the set. Full of catchy groove, a synth hook that characterizes their productions, which slowly adds tension to the construction of the track, leading into a break full of melodies and chords that will give you goosebumps.

The second cut, Clavigo , is characterized by a melody that resembles an arpeggio, throughout the whole track, with darker stab sounds appearing and complementing the development of this one. The pads and chords that characterize Avidus appear during the break, filling us with emotions throughout the rest of the track.

Wanderer's Nightsong" is the next one, where the identity of Avidus is reflected instantly from the first play. A very catchy synth, crunchy sounds, and percussions that play between each other, creating an
atmosphere of a danceable trip. Always adding their beautiful textures and chord progressions further in the track, giving a breath of fresh air and emotions.

For the remix duties, the French brothers, Betical, approach reworking  Wanderer's Nightsong” into a breaks track. Using elements of the original, reworking it into their own version and adding new synths and elements that create a beautiful remix.

The next EP will be by the Argentinian MUNSE (@munse_ofc). In the run-up to this EP, he presents something very exceptional. A prologue called ‘Lament of a Goddess’, which emerged from his movie music production background.

The prologue dives deeper into the cinematic and orchestral aspects of the EP. It consists of an electronic classical music piece, accompanied by a short animation movie, representing the world in which the EP takes place. You will hear back certain elements of the prologue in the EP.

A seasoned artist with an established catalogue, Kiantek returns to Grey Bar Hotel with his sophomore EP, "Alchemist". 

From an early age, the Berlin based artist found a passion for electronic music. Always aiming to cast himself at the bleeding edge of underground dance music, Kiantek has spent considerable time understanding modern production techniques, allowing for the creation a paradigm shift in what is possible within the electronic music framework. From Downtempo and Indie Dance to Techno and Organic House, Kiantek's production portfolio is an eclectic blend of genres with a self-confessed aim to "build tension and provide musicality to audiences" with a view to move beyond the traditional dancefloor sound. 

Finding his way onto Dalam Muzika in mid-2013 with his "Deep Connections" debut, Kiantek quickly saw his music allied to such blue-chip imprints as Friction Free, Doppelgaenger and Deepsessions Digital. May 2021 saw a Grey Bar Hotel debut with the 3-track "Divine Patterns" and it is now an honour to welcome back Kiantek to the label with another imaginative musical triptych. 

Opening proceedings, "Burning Susia" bristles with bassline emotion as a growling analogue bassline gradually filters over the sonic horizon. In tandem, a glittering arpeggio marries itself perfectly to the low-end brio as deep kick and ticking hi-hat top line create a club-friendly framework. A glorious free-flowing lead synth enters the fray at the mid-point making perfect use of the beatless backdrop to sit front and centre before the track builds to a rousing crescendo in the third movement. 

Continuing the deep rhythmic backdrop and rich harmonic narrative, the aptly titled "Berlin 6 AM" shimmers in the early morning gloaming. Building in intensity throughout, subtle urgency is provided via a rapid-fire shaker percussion and off-beat snare while a glorious arpeggio waxes and wanes with golden light gradually radiating over the cityscape below. Pausing for breath at the breakdown, Kianek's production picks up the pace once more in the second half with metronomic beat at percussive flair providing the perfect vehicle to lift the vibrant sonic melange to its conclusion. 

The title track continues to build upon the sonic characteristics of its partner tracks as "Alchemist" trips across a meticulously programmed rhythmic foundation, rising and falling with consummate dancefloor ease. Kept in check by a chest-thumping kick, a beautifully hypnotic arpeggio transforms itself in magical patterns that dip and soar with sonic abandon aided by a swathe of textured pads that add further to the overall ambience. 

A stunning triptych of musical chemistry, Kiantek's "Alchemist" has managed to produce pure aural gold.

The German producer @KikeamRadar returns to @DogsAndVulturesRecords, this time with 'Testament', a ray of light that  manages to keep us afloat through the cold and lack of sun . In his latest work he has managed to take his music to another level, more narrative, reflective and intimate, mixing different influences using old and new synthesizers and analog drum machines and combining them with plug-ins and digital effects.

Acclaimed French band @VoxLow takes on 'In Troubled Times' and really make it their own, in a way only they can . Elegant in its own unique right it takes the original to even higher levels with their trademark bass. We're sure this one's going to have lasting appeal and a track you'll be hearing much more of.

The  EP is completed with other excellent remixes from Nozz and  Montcosmik.

SHMN unveils his latest musical offering with the release of the mesmerizing "Sinking" EP, featuring a stellar remix by Undercatt. The EP, now available on Fayer, showcases SHMN's distinctive sound and creative prowess, drawing inspiration from the likes of Ry X, Who Made Who, and more.
