'Beyond the Edge of Time' - The 'Edge of Time' Remixes

While sitting under that Banyan tree questioning the nature of reality as minds fractured and fractalised at the edge of time, Killerwatts clung tightly to some remarkable chunks of tonal excellence that spawned what became their second full length album 'Edge of Time'.

A number of Moons have passed since the release of that legendary album, along with a solstice or two, and a new idea was born. An idea that enlisted the powerful energies of accomplices old and new to realign, invigorate, hybridize and create fresh versions of these musical journeys to push them beyond the edge of time and into new realms of radical mind altering beats.

ૐ Psykt is Dirk Kristen, Cape Town born and bred, moved to Johannesburg sometime after 2010 (give or take)... Met my now wife, bought a house, had a kid (he’s awesome!). Now ‘settled’ in Centurion, whilst operating 3 full time businesses ‘on the side’... 

ૐ I have been lucky (and blessed) to have played at some of the biggest festivals in South Africa/surrounds, including multiple sets over the years at Mozamboogy, Tswaing Crater Gathering, Moksha, One Festival, Vocation and many other smaller gatherings ~ no longer just an appreciator of the genre & its culture, but a pretty seriously devout PsyNut, and, now ‘creative contributor’! ~

My simple goal at this stage of the game is to continue to fill the air and ground with as much kick-ass rubber bounce whirlwind twisting turning psy sounds, for both your and my listening and gyrating pleasures, given the time/chance... };D

I went to my first Psytrance party at age 16 - 2001, Easter Vortex - Elgin Orchards in Cape Town - It Was Epic!
Fell in love, continued my journey through trance and never looked back.
And here we are...
