Lyon-based producer Sindh takes listeners on a ravishing sonic voyage with his track 'Qalat,' featured in the upcoming 'Mers' compilation from the French record label and community RDG Tribe. At the core of 'Qalat' lies a low-slung kick drum, providing a solid foundation for the track's momentum. Accompanying this foundation is a meticulously crafted percussive sequence that drives the rhythm forward with its intricate patterns and rhythmic complexity. Sindh skillfully weaves layers of percussive elements, creating a rich and textured sonic tapestry that is as captivating as infectious.

German raised and Brighton-based producer https://soundcloud.com/caldera-caldera presents "Casual Transcendence EP" on Flippen Bits, blending his signature groove-oriented sound with the trippy essence of the label.

The EP opens with the title track, "Casual Transcendence," setting a solid groove foundation and infusing it with a bouncy acid bass line and liquidy pads. "Ground Miles" adds hazy, pitch-shifted vocals to Caldera's established style, creating an entrancing blend of sounds. "Strange Brew" takes listeners on a cosmic journey with sizzling hi-hats, echoing bird songs, and an irresistible groove that makes time fly. Closing the EP is "Styte," a meditative percussion jam that mesmerizes with its intricate rhythms and elusive meter.

Deepening the sound well of the Mantis series’ explorations in subliminal club music, Katatonic Silentio (@katatonicsilentio) arrives with four tracks of spatial, subtle and elegant electronics. Milan-based Mariachiara Troianiello’s approach to soundsystem-oriented music has evolved over time, moving from hyperkinetic, breakcore-tinted post-rave music to patient, sound design-rich tapestries on her latest Les Chemins De L’inconnu LP for Ilian Tape.

On Mantis 11 she continues her established leftfield approach while also tapping into a particularly restrained, meditative mode which aligns with the loose ethos orbiting Mantis. Snaking, crooked rhythms plot a course through artfully sculpted reverb and delay - a skeletal, dub-informed sonic stamp shot through with especially expressive production, primed for dancehalls prepared to journey further in pursuit of full immersion.

A fitting prelude to the OODA project, conceived to explore polyrhythmic techno, bass and ambient experiments in all forms.

The release is inspired by the astronomical phenomenon of gamma rays, the most energetic form of electromagnetic radiation. Gamma ray bursts are associated with the core collapse of massive stars leading to the formation of a black hole or a neutron star, which releases a tremendous amount of energy, outshining entire galaxies for brief seconds.
