BIG MOE
Anthony Harrell aka Big Moe was born Feburary 28th 1981 in Gary, Indiana the home town of The Jackson 5. Big Moe was from the projects of Deleaney. At an early age Big Moe seen and dealt with the struggles of living in the projects of Gary. His mother refused to let her children grow up in that environment so she moved Big Moe and his sister to Minneapolis, MN. However growing up in any inner city the gangs and drugs still followed Big Moe. In 2003 he served a 3 year and 9 month sentence for dealing drugs.
While serving his time Big Moe perfected his writing and his lyrical abilities. Before his release he created Sho Boi Entertainment LLC, with the help of a family friend Jayestate who is the CEO of Top Line Entertainment a well-known independent label in the Twin Cities. Big Moe’s partner in Sho Boi Entertainment is his cousin who is also President of S.B.E. Cho1sen, they plan on staying independent and becoming one of the next power houses out of the Midwest. Currently on their roster is Big Moe, Cho1sen and Minasota Marley which is a trifecta of talent.
Big Moe has collaborated with many of the artists in the Twin Cities hip hop community such as: Skip Grandz, Fella Fellz, Bizziemplstreets, Murdasb, Book Money, J Rush, Ola Mane and M.O.E. In 2011 he also teamed up with Still Real Records first lady Roulette for a mixtape titled “Beauty and The Beast” with the assistance of Sick the CEO of Still Real Records. Big Moe is a humble and grateful artists and is thankful to the artists, producers and others he has worked with. Big Moe was nominated for TC Most Slept on in the 1st Annual Twin Cities Urban Music Awards, which is a testament to his hard work that his peers nominated him.
