The lines (translated, edited, retranslated, reedited...) derive from "Philoctetes“ (409 B.C.), a Greek tragedy by Sophocles (496 - 405 B.C.). Mainly it is Ulysses speaking to Neoptolemos (The son of Achilles) in order to conspire against the bowman Philoctetes…

Trickery (wt KBS, raw edit)

A little song called Glow I wrote around 2018 timeframe. It's one of those that came together over time, especially the chorus, it was one of those back burner unfinished songs, but certainly never forgotten. I've always enjoyed playing this melody.  I made a few minor changes not long ago, with the arrangement and a few lyrics, and it really feels complete...finally. Ever meet someone where they put something in you that you feel like you can do anything?  I hope you enjoy this live take I did the other night on my old Baldwin. Thanks for listening:) All your support means so much, thank you!:)

My Way

This is the first in a series of eight easy, acoustic, rather short and inconclusive tracks, which I’ve assembled by working on new and reworking on some old material adding parts and sounds. 
Will anything actually happen in the end? Unlikely. Definitely not here. Here it’s a montage of bare arpeggios in various keys.
I recorded this some weeks ago: sorry about the guitar sound, the string squeak is a bit too much; now, I hope to have fixed that investing in a better and more expensive set of strings.

In case nothing happens - part 1 (night)*

This track began as a MIDI track I had made using Logic. The individual stem tracks were then sent to the great Dr. Zwakkus, who then added his own tracks, remixed, remastered, and often times even performed many of these tracks on real instruments to render this musical idea into a true mark of Zwakkonian brilliance.  It is to be noted that any real instruments being played (guitar, bass, vocals and drums I believe) were played by Dr. Zwakkus himself.  The end result of this made the track tower high above the original idea that I sent him, and I am extremely grateful to have had this opportunity to collab with who I consider to be, probably the most original and innovative sounding artist there is, or at least I've ever heard.  Please do check out his music if you haven't, for I guarantee it is unlike anything you've ever heard in your life.

This song tells the story of an aging former Walk of Fame movie star who once basked in the Hollywood limelight and was everyone’s sweetheart on the silver screen. With the passage of time, fewer screen roles come her way, and she begins to depend on red wine to cope with her depression and grief. Eventually, she decides to end it all. Indeed, glory, fame and fortune are a young girl's game in Hollywood, which is riddled with stereotypes of beauty and youth.
