Brandon flies and glides to small islands smoothly and he ensures that the passengers has all the privacy for long and sparkling hours in the cabin. He is reliable and ensures that during the take-off and the landing a full glass of brandy would not spill off the folding table. However, Brandon is curious about what is happening in the cabin. Could it be that the passengers are playing Scrabble? Let’s have some doubts.

The Lola Express Pilot

So nice that my longtime collaborator friend @dough-factory has returned to SoundCloud after a break of a couple years! This is our first track working together since then and it came together in a really cool way. I was inspired by Ryan's electronic drums and bass to lay down some rhythm guitar as well as a few synth leads. Then he came up with some awesome lyrics/vocals that I think captures the vibe of this piece quite well.

Keep an eye out for more from us, we are thinking of pulling together a whole album or EP over the coming months.

Ascension tells the story of a protagonist following his career path, overcoming fears and barriers, getting over self doubt and adverse conditions. Or maybe the tale of a space odyssey operated by a huge company and its rise to the most powerful entity of mankind.

This is a hybrid track starting with a solo violin and piano and strings accompaniment. A constant soft string ostinato is opposed to a synth pulse. The middle part starts very ambient with spacious pads but rises in tension with the help of the orchestra.

The climax is introduced with a strong melodic statement played by horns. It's further developed with modulation and varied instrumentation.

The outro is more or less a mirror of the intro.
