Hi Everyone!
This is a special version of my piece called „Love Song”.
A few days ago, Brian Wilson - one of the greatest creators of pop rock music and a surf rock icon - passed away! R.I.P. 🍀

Below are a few words from me as a listener and fan of Brian’s music! - - - - -

Brian’s songs, both recorded with The Beach Boys and solo songs, are always innovative and enjoyable at the same time 🔆

The album “Pet Sounds” (released in 1966) by The Beach Boys is a real masterpiece that enchants and inspires many musicians to this day!
The wonderful song “God Only Knows” which comes from this album is the work of Brian Wilson. One of several best songs of all time indeed! 😎

Also worth recommending is Brian Wilson's solo album entitled “Smile” (released only in 2004) which includes the brilliant track "Good Vibrations”. The whole album impresses with its fresh ideas and innovative sound! 

I really love it 🔆 I'm sure Brian Wilson's beautiful and fascinating music will stay with us forever!

Love Vibrations

This song was written for my beautiful wife Anita shortly after we both met. One of many I've written her, she is after all the love of my life. She put an end to that crazy mid-life crisis I was struggling with for 6 years! I really like this ballad and I re-recorded it this year and wanted Charlie to sing it but he cancelled out on several occasions for personal reasons, so I went ahead and sang it myself, I guess I should have waited!  (please forgive my awful vocals and harms!). It's a very basic and raw song and I didn't record a lot of instruments and I didn't do a lot of overdubs, maybe I should have, maybe a piano or some more strings would have helped it a bit. It's one of my favorite love songs that I have written and it's very personal, both lyrics and medley came to me rather easily and quickly, maybe an hour at most! Those are the best, the ones that come to you without you even having to think about it, they come straight from the heart.

The video is brand new and I had a lot of fun putting it together. I worked for several days on it. I hope everyone enjoys it and just in case anybody doesn't already know, my wife is "More Than Wonderful!"😂 I know a lot of people won't appreciate this song but it means the world to me! What happens if "Dust In the Wind" meets "Classical Gas"?  I sought to answer that profound question one morning when I was riffing on an A-minor chord and couldn't think of another way to describe this acoustic concoction. I couldn't think of a better name for it either, but seemed to have a "ballad" feel to it, either about a hero or villain, I'll let you decide, and maybe catch a "catnap" thinking about it:)
