The music I dream of is a work that expresses a landscape where all kinds of music are mixed together. I think the day will come when I can make one. I looped a funky bass and it looked good with a Japanese flute, so I finished it all at once. At the end, I do a little improvisation on the saxophone.

A few days ago, I went to a bar in the south of France for a drink and recorded the following story: One of the waitresses started teasing a customer she seemed to know well, then decided to draw pictures behind his back, on his t-shirt with markers. The said client asked him to erase the drawings, then exclaimed while laughing: erase my life, erase my whole life! The waitress continued her work and drew caterpillars. During this time, I took the opportunity to practice my Spanish with the client. When a lady came into the bar saying: It's a circus, you're very dissipated, if the priest can hear you!! So she chatted with me, informing me of the presence of the priest and his flock having lunch on the bar terrace. I then sent the recording to Mesmo who practiced his magic, which I adorned with flute and poetry :

“Contrapunctus III” was completed in February 2024 in Fairview, TX. The work is in three movements: Rondo, Variations, and Finale'. Performance time is about 20 minutes. Printed and electronic copies of the score are available now and instrumental parts will soon be available soon from www.CreativeSpiritOnline.com.
