Roland of Grenzlicht creates the most amazing razor sharp modular synth music here remaining true to the electro-punk era, that pure analogue sound that I simply could not resist! 

My whole life I've wanted to record music like this ever since I discovered it in my youth...I live for this kind of sound and I thank the universe for Roland, that he came along from nowhere and then ever so nicely invited me to sing on his spectacular Bottle track, making my dream to come true! I'm deeply fascinated by this sonic creation and feel so proud to be participating!  

I just wanted to add that I went for the chronically-addicted-dark-drinker type with my (nonsensical drunken chitter-chatter) vocal performance, how this untamed woman will do anything for the drink and the company that goes with...I think that kind of personality type really comes across in this piece...keeping my fingers crossed that you agree :)

     This song originated with Mark creating a bass line to a metronome, and sharing it with Ken. Ken immediately added his driving drums, and invited the rest of the EC to join in. JJ was first up, laying in his foundational organ, and e. piano magic in the first half, and the cosmic synth melody in the second part. Batting second was Josh, who established the melody in the first half with his electric mandolin, and mirrors the melody in the second half with the same. Next came Tez, who laid in the funky guitar right after the first break, all the way to the end. Batting clean up was Chris, who laid in the psych guitar in the first section, as well as the high guitar part in the second movement. Of course, we needed an expert producer to mix this for us, so we turned to Stephen, who always gets it exactly to everyone's specifications. That in and of itself is quite a skill, and I don't know how he does it, but everyone is always satisfied with his work.
    This is the second song we've done with Mark, who is a tremendously talented bass player, and delightfully creative songwriter. This song began by Steve writing it on his acoustic guitar, singing it, and passing the recording on to me to share with the rest of the Eclectic Collective. Tez was first to add his complimentary guitar in his typical expert fashion. Ken then added his very tasteful drums. Soon after. I worked my bass part until it was dialed in. After the Rhythm section was solid, JJ came along and sprinkled his organ magic throughout. Then, for good measure, I added some lap steel, too.
  Of course, every great song needs a great producer, and Tez was the man for the job on this one. Steve is a fantastic singer and songwriter. We all feel very lucky that he so generously shares his talent and work with us. We hope you enjoy listening to this as much as we enjoyed making it.
