Related tracks: New <insert choice of word>

I had recorded an early demo of this tune in the 1990s on a TEAC 4-track cassette recorder playing a Yamaha steel string and later added classical guitar parts. Sadly I lost that tape. So I’ve reconstructed it digitally with new arrangements using my Akai keyboard or scoring it directly into my DAW editor.

A lot of synth guitars and keyboards set to hip hop beats at 85 bpm.

Life is amazing.  There's so much to enjoy.  This song is about a period of ones life that means solitude and the pleasure of introspection.  After a while things change and you find love,or maybe you don't.  Appreciate the various rocks we step on to cross the river.

When I first heard this I instantly picked up a  blusey mid eastern flavour to it and decided to pick up on that theme. I used Pauls track "Remember" in it's entirety with no edits to do some post production work around it, picking up on that eastern vibe I was getting !!   This is a remix that Tez did of a song JJ wrote, and we released a couple weeks ago. He extracted the coda, expanded it, and mixed an ambient groove into it. Basically, he took the sweetest part of the fruit and made a salad with it. Everyone is doing the same thing they were a couple weeks ago, except this time what you're hearing has gone through the filter of Tez's brain. It sounds like almost a completely different song now, and a really fun ride at that. Tez is into ambient music, so this touches on that proclivity, too. When all heard it on Christmas day, we decided immediately that we wanted to share it with all of you. We hope you enjoy listening to it as much as we enjoyed making it, and Tez enjoyed crafting it into something new.
