This song began one creative Saturday evening several weeks ago with JJ coming up with it on his organ, piano, bass, and drums. He wrote it with the Eclectic Collective in mind and immediately shared it with the rest of us.
  Ken was the first to jump on it, adding his strong, Masonesque drums. Josh excitedly dove in once he had a beat to play off of. Then, it was time for the guitarists in the band to show off their skills. Stephen laid down the psychedelic, textural guitar you hear throughout, as well as the thrilling solo in the middle, starting around 1:25 and ending around 1:50. Tez did his best Dave Gilmour impression, adding rest of the fiery lead solo you hear throughout, as well. 
  Once it was in the can, we needed a mix, of course, and Stephen was kind enough to work his magic on the production.
  This is a perfect example of a JJ seed that took bloom with the EC. We all love working on his songs. We hope you enjoy listening to this as much as we enjoyed creating it.

On behalf of my son Jeffrey Husted and myself we present a song called:
93 Million Miles. Jeff is the featured vocalist. He is my all-time favorite rock/pop star; Thank You Jeff! I Love You.

The lyrics were written well over a year ago but several lines in separate verses are resonating with me with greater charge today given the state of our world.

The phrase “Close your eyes and see” is reflected in my original lyrics as the final line but not sung in the final mix of the song. You will have to imagine them.

Rain...too little of it and there is drought, too much of it and there are deadly, destructive floods, just the right amount and the earth flourishes; crops grow, gardens bloom, our spirits are refreshed and encouraged.  This song begs the questions; are mankind's plans, philosophies, charitable endeavors, or selfish goals like the rain that can benefit mankind or destroy it?  Do novel ideas work for the moral structure of humanity or is the ancient wisdom better? There are no easy answers to the questions Peter asks in the lyrics, but they are questions we should consider as we see the world aflame--which is another blessing of rain, it can put out fires.

Ok so this one is purposely a little out there given what it peruses. Oulipo! A French writing movement based on constraints. Fascinating! Thanks Marcin Kulik for the steer on this today (https://soundcloud.com/marcin_kulik) Marcins music is amazing - includes his family in that learning which beams good to me and is a sound chap and it seems a fountain of knowledge. The most notable music thing is that the song contains 5 time signatures. I guess musically you could call that a constraint... or at least it is for me having not purposefully done that before so a constraint in the sense itself I find it difficult to make that sensible sounding... I'm not sure sense was the final goal of this movement though. Lot's of their work would end up complete gibberish so any reason gained from it seemed meta fictional. So it's been likened to a branch of metaphysical painting which spilled into textual works apparently
