This is a track I put together real quick for a music podcast called The Cosmic Bos MMC (Monthly Music Challenge) They have a song of the month challenge where you compose and submit a song each month and they play it on the podcast with the goal of releasing an album at the end of the year.  This was for Feb and the theme for the show was #happy.  It's short and sweet and the first non-collab in a while. Popped a string around 1:25

SULTRY - Cyclone Mix [Event 49]

These days I've been practicing piano, trying to regain some confidence in my playing. Althought, I learned with Czerny's speed exercises, lately, I've been drawn to play slower pieces. But then, my dark side likes to takes over and uppens the tempo into something bizarre. Anyway...
Like many people from my country and my generation, I grew up watching dubbed shonen anime like Dragon Ball Z. Despite having moved on with my life, that anime always found a way to come back to me. Nowadays, that feeling of nostalgia has been monetized, but back then, it was like catching up with old friends. But now that its creator is gone, I guess it's finally over. Only his art remains, the love he put in it, and the joy it brought us.

关云长　Guan Yun Chang（？～２２０）

Guan Yun Chang was a Chinese figure from about 1,800 years ago.

He is a popular figure in the Records of the Three Kingdoms, and for some reason is now worshipped as a god of commerce.

He remained loyal to Liu Bei, the founder of Shu Han, and was admired by many of his contemporaries, including Cao Cao, for his extraordinary bravery and sense of duty.

Among the military commanders appearing in "Epic of the Three Kingdoms," he was as popular as Zhuge Liang, and because he valued righteousness, later generations deified him and designated him as the Guan Di (Guan Emperor).

He is worshiped as the god of business in Chinatowns around the world. He is given special treatment in "Epic of the Three Kingdoms" and is described as Kwan Gong rather than Guan Yu.

Those individuals on wheels had a hard time finding their feed. Hungry they were - for that special dumpling that connects you to anything pagans and believers alike deem holy. Although endowed with holographic properties, you can't walk on clouds unless they are numbered. They kept drifting upwards, therefore, slowly upwards until they hit the ceiling called Mars. Mars always happens to be where your head needs something to bump against. That's the nature of war.

This is really a creation of Tez, who put it together from a mix of JJ's and Josh's parts on the high end. He was kind enough to share it with JJ and Josh, and have us be a part of this psychedelic whirlwind. Tez gave Josh and JJ a bass line attached to a house beat. They both came up with parts that were wildly different than what you hear. But that's just one example of the magic that Tez's wields. He can bend sounds and parts to his will and create something totally different from the original, new and exciting. We all hope you enjoy listening to this as much as we enjoyed making it.
