Planet Trillium

A song about how I came to learn to play the guitar and start to write songs. I am very sorry for the poor sound. But at the moment I can only record with my phone. That's why I have to play the song in one go. The drums are just the built-in drum accompaniment of my amplifier, which I switched on in this song after the first chords. I will buy an audio interface and try to find a DAW (free or not too expensive) - if you know a free one, you can send me a PM.
One day I will manage to get a better sound, I am sure! But for the first songs, only all live-played with the drums from my amp recorded via phone, since I cannot do more at the moment. Perhaps some like it nevertheless? I am a bit excited about pulishing my first track here...

The mission audio is Apollo control reading a selection of news headlines to the crew whilst they are on the outward leg of the journey. A bit of banality during an historic event.

After nearly losing one of my new kittens, Scout, to the deadly parasite Toxoplasma gondii (Toxoplasmosis), which caused some horrifying neurological symptoms, including body twitches, I decided to express my feelings about the experience in song using my new DAW. The song is upbeat because she recovered, and is now parasite free!

Flames of the Heart

Well, I finally finished working on one of my all time fave songs, In Your Eyes, by Peter Gabriel. This is a straight up cover that's as faithful to the original as I could get. It's definitely the most time and meticulous effort I've spent on a song trying to do it justice. All instruments are played by me on keyboard, as well as the live talking drum and lead & backing vocals, besides some backing synth pads and additional backing vocals by @remnant60. Bill was also instrumental in giving feedback and offering suggestions, and providing the mastering duties. 
There's also a bit of a surprise remix version I did that highlights all the layers of sounds that go into this masterpiece of a song. See link below.
