Ethereal

A wistful journey thru the wavetables of Argon 8m - my favorite synth right now for capturing that late 80's lush, swoshing sound palette. No other synths in this one except for the drums that is a sampled kit from Alesis HR16B performing a kind of ebm sounding industry beat. Effects added in Ableton Live except for the formidable chorus version 2 that I kept from the Argon patches. Voice samples from the film noir feature film 'Inner Sanctum' from 1948.

A long-time friend of the label, Suzuka, surprised me with this complete album. From start to finish, it is a fun listen that I wanted to release IMMEDIATELY. Great Chillsynth with great production and great songwriting. Triple threat.

This song was inspired by the Large Hadron Collider (LHC), hence the name of the track. This song has some potent, cosmic vibes in it. I hope you enjoy this song! ❤️

It’s the season finale of Beyond Synth Season 12! Andy is still taking calls from listeners and patrons and catching up with some former guests. Joe Ozone started making YouTube videos, caught up with an old friend, and wants you to support creators! Joshua had his wrestling debut and tells Andy a bit about cyberpunk lore. Andy meets Berzinski who used to be a production assistant at VH1, and he talks about making a low budget show that actually aired on TV! Since Andy talked to Florence her Achilles tendon exploded while playing the deadliest game: Squash.  Thankfully she’s doing okay now and chats with Andy about The Concorde supersonic jet.

Knight of Ducks is eyeing up a dutch oven and hopes to read 20 books in the new year. Vincenzo Salvia pops by to talk about his latest multimedia project and Andy interacts with VIncenzo’s AI Chatbot Alice. Slade is on his way to a cabaret but he has a few minutes to talk to Andy about Soul Blade, Soul Calibre and the PC game Take No Prisoners. And finally, Andy catches up with Jessie Frye who teases her upcoming album and her love of Legend and The Crow!
