This is quite the epic battle theme, i’m hoping the other battle themes are epic as this.

I loved RUNE back in the day, it always reminded me of that time some mean kids stayed blasting the music during recess and chased me into the forest where I got lost for 2 days, fun times

Hey guys just found some old tracks I made for one of my friends back in the day when my old friend group had a cool web animation series! It was called CoolKidsBattlegrounds, and it was basically a prettier looking version of one of those stick fight videos, and one of the people, I don’t remember who, made a character of their own and I made music and art for her. I’m gonna be uploading stuff and providing context in the process! The character’s name is Khryssalis, and she has a smiley face buddy named TITLE TBA, whose name came about cause we just never named him lol. I’ll talk more in later tracks cause I’m running out of message space, but this art here in particular is something I made just now, the rest will be of much lower quality unless I have to make new ones.

Aaaaand here's the first one to have my admittedly somewhat embarrassing old art. Hopefully it's not too bad, at least. This pretty much should give you the vibe of what a lot of CoolKidsBattlegrounds looked like lol. There's not really a lot of lore in CoolKidsBattlegrounds, but Khryssalis's whole deal was she basically had a nail bat, could do cool moves that my friend who made her definitely didn't just steal from one of their favorite rpg games, and had a weird smiley face guy living on her shirt that could detach itself, shoot nails at people at high speeds, and pretty much was a loose cannon and on nobody's side. Honestly the little freak gave me the creeps with what little was established about their personality but it's my friend's character, not about to bash it for no reason like a decade later.

This is one of the later songs... close to the ending of the comic's lifespan. It's supposed to be for when you meet this guy. I don't remember his name exactly, but I'm pretty sure it's "Stan" seeing the filename .

There was another character, Crissie, that like really hated him for no reason??? Even though he was just giving out panflets for his band's show (it was called "Stan and the Eden Suns" I think? No clue what it meant, even back then.)

There's not much to this part really, once again, it was near the comic's "indefinite hiatus" and eventual cancellation, where the creator left the Internet :(

P.S. I forgot to mention, but there's also an early version of this song! I'll post it relatively soon :)

Hi guys!!! Uh... Do you remember my old CYOA (Choose Your Own Adventure for anyone new!!!) here??? It was basically not related to Super Smash Bros. at all despite being on this board... But I saw other people doing them here and wanted to get in on it... And I was the first to do one with drawings instead of just plain text!!!

Anyway!!! It was called RUNE: Staniel's Adventure!!! It was about this guy called Staniel (I thought it was a funny sounding name...) who went through a bunch of different areas to get these things I called "Runes" which were super powerful when put together... He wanted to get them cause there was a bad guy who was trying to collect them too and he was trying to like ascend past everyone and do evil stuff!!! 

But uh... That's not the point of this topic though... I got reminded of this CYOA from earlier last year because an old participant (Username was something about flowers I think???) randomly posted in one of the old topics... I was sure the mods would've archived them by now but I guess not??? But anyway... It reminded me how no one did a sidequest I had set up stuff for... There was a character in the second area, The City, called Risi!!! 

Risi was a minor character, but (He??? She??? I never really decided what Risi was...) was set up to be the False Runekeeper of the area... Those are optional bosses which will replace the regular boss if you do a sidequest!!! In the castle area the sidequest was done but not here... So I wanted to share my concepts and some music I made for Risi!!!

I made a couple songs for the CYOA using the only instruments I could find, being this weird sounding Super Mario 64 set... Some of the instrument sounded fuzzy and almost like they were recorded straight from the guy's TV??? I tried to avoid using those ones... Still, I hope you like it!!! This one's the encounter theme!!!

Think about it, no one has ever made a Spamton --> Creiss AU that's loosely based off a Spamton --> Kris P. "All Around Hero," where the aforementioned Creiss au is derived from a Kris --> Spameen AU that follows up a Spamton --> Cris AU that branch from a Kris --> Spamton AU that stems from a Spamton --> Kris AU where Kris takes the role Spamton! The Porkline needs more meta!

According to my compendium of flavors, it would bring a nice earthy taste to my meals. Clearly something that would help me fall back into the favor of Michelin. Alas, I must make myself presentable to lure the rabbit in. After all, the less they struggle, the more tender their meat is.

Oh my gosh, I completely forgot to post the other things I found that I had made for the RUNE CYOA cause I've been busy with school and games and stuff... I have Risi's battle theme and it's honestly one of the best songs I've made I'm not sure how I managed it... But yeah!!! That's linked at the end of the topic!!!

Oh yeah, the battle... This isn't for Risi's actual final battle the False Runekeepers have, it's just for when you first run into them... Staniel and Risi didn't really want to fight, it's just how the system worked, so they were able to talk during the battle... Risi doesn't talk much though!!! So it was a bit hard to get them to say anything... I think eventually people just ran away when the battle was supposed to have a peaceful end where Risi like invites you to his/her/whatever house...

Also the song!!! The song is really good I think you should listen to it!!! But I did get a little carried away and made it a bit too intense for the scene where you're basically just talking to them... Oops... But Risi becomes kind of more intense later on but we haven't got there yet... I'll keep you guys updated!!!
