Storyboard: 

I named it after a nickname everyone gives me online of mine, since the song could represent me in one way. But there’s an actual story to the song, you can hear elements of it in the beginning, the transition before the trap section, and at the end. 

Listen to the song while you read this! 

A person walks through a train station, enters the train and sits down, turns on their gameboy and you hear the first line, adlibs are put in as little “blips and blops” you’d hear navi-gating in a menu. 

The bossa nova comes in suddenly and it’s like that state you’re in when you’re REALLY immersed in a game. 

Then the “8-bit transition” kicks in. This part is like a camera angle of the person in the train, that’s why the melody is faint, and the drums are 8-bit. Something you’d hear someone listening to beside you.

BAM! The trap/hip-hop part comes in, but the melody of it creeps in before the break. This is like that really hard level in a game you can’t beat.

The original melody comes back in as a “resolution”. A simplified duet lowers the dynamics and portrays that “game over” screen

The person walks out the train, and if you listen closely, you’ll hear faint bits of the drums in the song. Their gameboy is probably still on lmao. After that, i ended it with a train ticket rip at the very end!
