It's with utter joy that we present this groundbreaking, genre-bending debut album from the Humanoids project.  A sonic experiment brought to life by psytrance veterans Illumination and Sandman, two legendary vibe architects who've been shaping the psychedelic trance scene since the '90s.

In an era increasingly dominated by AI-generated media, 'Becoming Human' stands as a bold statement in the opposite direction for a more hands-on approach to life. Every sound on the album has been lovingly sculpted with masterful knob-twiddling, slider-finessing and deep sonic intuition. This warm, human touch pulses through every moment of the album's journey.

It gets deep, dank, and dirty with precision crafted techy edginess, while keeping a child-like cheekiness and playful grooviness throughout. Psytrance for the heads, the heart, and the humans.

The album features 9 mind-warping tracks, including collaborations with Atmos, Martian Arts and Braincell, and a deeply reinvigorated remix of the Eat Static's classic: 'Contact'.

Celebrating 10 years of Pixan Recordings the label head DJ Tommi prepared a 2 hours long set consisting of old and new Pixan releases.

PIXAN RECORDINGS ADVANCED PSYCHEDELIC TECHNOLOGY PSYTRANCE RECORD LABEL / SPAIN-ITALY—Pixan Recordings it’s a psy-trance label based between Ibiza-Spain and Rome-Italy,managed by dj Tommi. He started the label in 2005 after almost 15 year of dj experiences around the globe. The label it’s oriented in deep and twisted tunes, night-time oriented, but always keeping in mind that music it’s music! Pixan Recordings, bored of the abnormous number of music classification in psytrance nowdays, it’s tryng to fill the space between Dark and Full on, between night and day, between body and soul! With many releases already out, Pixan rec., always tried to don’t just give water to his own flowers but select the music after deep and long listening going from establish act to newcomers generating a new fresh Pixan style.
At the moment the most representative acts of the label are Bon, Dust, Full Face, Jocid, Hookers and Spectralis.

Fungus Funk is Sergei Prilepa, an established psychedelic trance musician from Moscow, Russia. Sergei started producing psytrance in 1998, and he has been releasing music since 2001. Over the past 15 years, Fungus Funk has put out his compilation tracks on Acidance, Deja Vu, Goanmantra, Insomnia, Noise Conspiracy, Crystal Matrix and numerous other labels. To his credit are four well-received full length albums: ‘F-People’ (2006) on Acidance, ‘Vostok 1’ (2008) together with Samadhi on Blitz Studios, ‘Electric Grooves’ (2010) also on Blitz Studios, and ‘Kremlin Gremlin’ (2012) on his own label Unlimited Music. Additionally, Sergei also released four acclaimed EPs: ‘Tune In’ on Planet B.E.N. as Fungus Funk, ‘Star Eater’ on Sun Station as Astroff, both in 2011, Technomarine EP in 2014 and in 2015 Fungus Drop EP in collaboration with Greek artist Drip Drop on Pixan Recordings.
Fungus Funk’s sound is not easy to define as it incorporates features from different sub-genres of psytrance and generally tends to change from album to album. Regardless of which version of Fungus Funk you get to experience, it is guaranteed to be full of fat well defined basslines, powerful psychedelic leads, and top-notch sequencing. Courtesy of his productive musical output and subsequent popularity in the international psytrance scene, Fungus Funk regularly travels the globe and plays his live and DJ sets at various dance music events. Among some of the bigger festivals he has appeared at are the well-known Boom Festival (Portugal), Sonica (Italy), Antaris (Germany), Transcendence (Brazil), and Hadra (France) among others. We at Sangoma are happy to have Sergei on board.

Wummerland Podcast #25 - Fungus Funk [Sangoma Records / Pixan Records]

This DJ set was recorded live at the Hilltop venue in Goa, India. I was honored to be asked to DJ the side stage, which opens after the main stage shuts down at 10pm. The crowd was packed for the Hilltop Festival After Party, and I had a blast performing this set for some truly amazing, energetic dancers. Hope you enjoy listening to it!

全ての始まりはここから…。

2008年春大阪舞洲で行われた、野外音楽フェス渚音楽祭でPsytranceに出会いそこで彼はTRANCEワールドの虜になる。
2024年5月シークレット野外パーティー「SENSE  OF UNITY」にてキャリアをスタート、その後専属DJとしても活動開始させる。
彼のプレイStyleは、攻撃的かつスピーディーなTwilightサウンドを武器に、フロアを一体感へと導く。
デビュー後、数々のパーティーにも出演。そして翌年の2025年2月にはタイ、パンガン島、バンコクでのパーティーに出演。これからも勢い止まらずシーンを盛り上げていくため今もなおPsytranceと向き合い、LOVE&PEACEを胸に突き進んでゆく。
