You know one of those times when you end up at an afterparty with people you don’t know, end up playing back to back with someone and music turns out to be much better than whatever event you were at before ? 
Well it happened in 2019 when I met JR aka Moris in his flat in Place de Clichy. 
Hibernating 6 months in a year, it was about time to take it out of his cavern.

Marcelina Wick (@marcelinawick) is a London based Polish bred DJ and a founder of the record label Sticky Plastik (@stickyplastik)
Marcelina’s passion for music ignited in Ibiza where she started her musical journey.
Having relocated from the Balearic Islands, she has been making her mark as an electric vibe curator across London. Drawing influences from London’s underground rave music scene, Wick’s DJ sets deliver an eclectic array of sounds as she combines dark and uplifting house, minimal techno and broken beats. Atmospheric and edifying, her sets throughout the years have added to her already burgeoning reputation as a supremely skilled craftswoman behind the decks.
Marcelina has played at some of London’s leading venues such as Fabric, Printworks, The Cause. and Egg London alongside the likes of The Ghost, Voigtmann, Harry Wills, Radioactive Man, Lazare Hoche, Desert Sound Colony, Voodoo and Taboos, S.A.M and Charly and Scotch. Not content with just making waves across the British capital, she also spent recent years taking her craft globally, getting booked for shows in Manchester, Leeds, Liverpool, Southampton, as well as festivals : The Gottwood, Strawberries and Cream and Slades. Internationally Marcelina appeared in Lisbon, Italy and France as well as Ecuador.
Alongside her regular sets, Marcelina is the founder of London-based minimal techno event and record label Sticky Plastik, which made its debut in January 2018. Sticky Plastik label is distributed by Subwax and its first release in 2022 has been premiered by Trommel, nightclubber.ro and Do-Funkk.
Marcelina’s star continues to shine brighter, and with a number of shows lined-up at some of Europe’s premier venues, keep your ears peeled and shades on, Wick is set to light up 2023.
