Shoplifter is an electronic punk band formed by Annie Berlin, Harry and Kate Walton. Their music is shaped by many different genres including punk, electro, new wave and techno.

Debut single ‘Plastic Doll Head’ is a dramatised, ironic account of singer Annie Berlin’s feelings when she was a teenage girl. Although one reviewer thought she was “poking fun at models”! she was actually talking about a simple time when “I didn’t want a thing to eat and I didn’t want to get out of bed…. I just wanted a plastic head!!.. haha”

2nd single ‘Future Consumer’, released on September 3 2021, is a sardonic take on Western Consumerism - the exploitation of human rights and the consumption of goods from unethical sources. All wrapped up in a pounding, pulsing electronic punk beat and an insanely unforgettable chorus. What’s not to like!?
