Romanian artist Kidoo makes his NoZzo Music debut with his groove-laden 'Incocencia' EP featuring Kevin York on remix duties.

Romanian DJ/Producer Kidoo is steadily making a name for himself in the Tech House realm through a wave of impressive releases on credible underground imprints. He joins us for his NoZzo debut with two original cuts, accompanied by established Costa Rican talent Kevin York on remix duties.

The EP opens on 'Inocencia', picking up the pace a little. Scattered rhythms and analogue grittiness complement its soulful vocals and subtle funk-inspired samples, carving out a steady roller with deepened tones to keep you on your toes from end to end.

Kevin York comes next with his remix of 'Inocencia', keeping it minimal and explicitly danceable. Hollowed out drums lay the way for a rhythmic sub-bassline as instrumental layers rattle along over the top, steadily rising and building as the track ebbs and flows through its many sequences.

'Remedio' closes the release featuring stripped-back underground flavours and heavy rolling rhythms. A bed of punchy drum work, crisp percs and sharp hat grooves create undulating energy whilst subtle melodic injections and a twisted vocal cut ride along to the beat, carving out a vibe-building terrace-geared record.

Following their gigantic release earlier last year, the ADEZ boys team up with the boss, Reelow, for their first-ever collaborative effort. The result is this incredibly well-crafted EP called Funk The Pump, and as the name suggests - its pretty much what everyone was expecting. Four tracks for four bouncy, skippy and driving originals that bring together rubbery basslines, epic vocals, chunky grooves, and a lot of fun on the dancefloor. Let there be... funk!

Reelow & ADEZ - I Wanna Get You

Way Out unveils its 2024 ADE Sampler, inviting six new artists to the label, a mix of residents and new faces. One of the most important years, 2024 has been a year rich with good goals to remember for Way Out as they host stand-out shows abroad between Barcelona, Milan, and Turin, including OFF Sonar and Ibiza for the first time alongside the recent appearances at 93 feet east for the summer series Fabric and E1. The Ade Sampler is a diverse release V/A compilation featuring new talents, resident artists, and impressive regulars. Co-founder BRADII collaborates with Argentina Boros to add one highly requested signature track to the compilation, following peak-time and after-hours anthems from new and upcoming artists KiRKie, Nick Edwins, RedVibes Stephen Popov signed to the label, and resident artists Verso and Tim James.

"Terreta” is the way we affectionately call our land, Valencia. That is why this compilation of House and Tech House music is named “Techrreta”, in honor of our beautiful city. 

Our goal with this VA is to unite Valencian music creators and those artists who have a connection to our city, in order to raise funds to help those who need it most, rebuild animal shelters, provide food and water to those without supplies, offer clothing and repair homes that urgently need help. 

On October 29, 2024, flash floods devastated much of the southern and western areas of the province of Valencia, along with several other regions in Spain. This catastrophic event caused storm surges, collapsed bridges, and left thousands of people stranded on roads and streets, ultimately leading to a death toll that is now estimated in the hundreds and tragically continues to rise. 

Homes, animal shelters, businesses, vehicles, fields, personal property, and families have suffered immensely from this disaster, an event that surprised thousands of people on the streets, going to and from school, work, and daily life, with little to no warning. Ten hours later, dire alerts came through our phones, leading to even greater tragedy.

“Terreta” is how we affectionately call our city, our land, Valencia. That is why this compilation of House and Tech House music is named "Techrreta”, in honor of our beautiful city.

We are incredibly grateful to have a community of artists and music-making friends, both from Valencia and other cities and even countries, who have generously donated their work to help with relief efforts. Our hearts go out to all those who have suffered loss.

The A-side opens with Watch Out, a crafty, rolling bassline paired with sleek, layered synth work and captivating sound design. Next up, Work That Body delivers suspense-filled builds and explosive drops, pairing hypnotic vocal chops with a punchy bassline for a full-throttle dancefloor weapon.

On the B-side, The Message channels 90s hip-hop swagger into a groovy, bass-driven cut with intricate melodic textures and fluid, evolving atmospheres. Closing out the EP, Can’t Sit Down turns up the heat with futuristic synth stabs, a driving low end, and a tightly-wound arrangement that refuses to let the energy drop.
