Cutting his teeth on the early UK garage scene, Lucas Alexander brings his swinging beats and deep garage house chops to Ben Rau’s META label with the three track EP, ‘I Believe In Magic’.

With productions already under his belt receiving support from the likes of Richy Ahmed, Patrick Topping, DJ Deeon and Jamie Jones, and a recent EP for Darius Syrossian’s MOXY MUZIK label, his release for META reboots a new era for the Cardiff based DJ/producer who has honed his sound over the last decade through DJing & clubbing at the early garage parties in Malia to Richie Hawtin's Enter in Ibiza.

‘I Believe In Magic’ slams tough with bustling, skippy beats and a low end bass wobble that’s as infectious as Jeris’ hypnotising vocal contribution, whilst ‘New Skool, Old Soul’ is anchored by a hefty New Jersey swing, augmented with deep organ refrains, vox chops and sax licks, for a real authentic and rootsy slice of garage house.  ‘Trap’s Groove’ acts as a perfect finale to this industrious release, its thick DX bassline and dubby synth stabs executing a cracking head-nodder of a track!
