The reason for Fair Trade is to change Seoul into the city of freedom. The synth rhythm of techno that crosses the grid lodges the brain, expands one's thoughts and allows one to see the various perspectives, and one becomes a citizen who understands that since everything is connected, there is no (unconsent) high or low between oneself and others. The brain and muscles are connected, free vision is replaced by movement, and by feeling each other's heat, we all become confident that we can find a euphoric future. I suggest some rules to help you to experience this beautiful journey.

If we apply the trend of the times to the essence of various events that have occurred recently, we believe that Seoul is on the verge of a cataclysmic change. I believe that if we only agree on some principles, imagination will quickly become a reality. Dreaming of a future city where diversity and creativity are valued under the idea that the remaining competitiveness at a time where AI replaces the simple labor of the human era, where survival problems have been solved, is the driving force of creativity.

Short Finger, Tae-ho Kim, is Techno  DJ and producer based in the middle of Itaewon, Seoul.
He was born and raised in Seoul in the early 1990s and pursued music as well as graphic design in his 20-30s. He explored the theoretical similarity between graphic design and sound and studied the interaction between them deeply. Through organic experiences in the intersection of two fields, he has come to the realization that electronic music is sound art that expresses the principles of the human brain’s process, and it has an influence on our perspective of life.

He appreciates the grid created by the regularity of rhythm, beat, and groove in electronic music and the harmony of sound and texture from diverse interactions in the grid. He believes that sound logic induces the expansion of ideas, escape from the norms, and recognition of diversity which leads us to become more pure and open-minded. He established this belief for himself as a human being as well.

From his perspective, the techno club serves as a pumping heart that unites the scene of music, culture, and art and accelerates to the future while audiences and DJs are disputing and connecting their thoughts through mixers and speakers.

Ultimately, Short Finger hopes the crowd would care for each other, and harmonize with an open mind in a safe and peaceful space to move toward a more creative future. This is what he drives himself for sound.
