Sincerely one of the best weeks of my life, and this song is my attempt at a quirky yet genuinely sentimental time that will always have the most special place in my heart. Dedicated to near and not-so-near, dear friends.

As a big fan of Danny Jacob and Jon Colton Barry's music in Phineas and Ferb, this is one of my absolute favourites out of the series (among the many I have narrowed down). I'm no Jeremy and the Incidentals but this is my take on a do nothing day (ironically recorded on a very busy day).

With a free half day today and no proper recording equipment beyond my phone, in the spur of the moment I decided to take myself back 10+ years when I spent my time after school fiddling around on the keys listening to rock and some metal and being so consumed with how great these genres sounded on the keys. Playing these particular ones by ear has also made me a (hopefully) more attentive musician, and this album has been a recent one I've absolutely loved growing up listening to Demi Lovato. To dream of replicating her voice would simply be an overstretch but the catharsis of singing it is great.
