Orginally hailing from South Africa Dj ShortKutz (Neil Davis) has been hard at work in the South Pacific dropping Beats and Breaks in New Zealand since his arrival at the turn of the millennium. 
Primarily responsible for the development of the breaks scene in the deep south of NZ he’s lead from the front where he has run the sole breaks radio show on RADIO ONE, 91fm and also hosted Fragile Styles Radio on nsbradio.co.uk (Best Breaks Radio Station, Breakspoll 08, 09 & ‘10).
Off the airwaves Shortkutz has promoted numerous club nights including the infamous Fragile Styles, Def-Innit Breaks and Broke’n’ Beat nights which have paved the foundations for the broken beat scene in the south while delivering numerous international acts to NZ’s shores. 
With near on 10 year experience ShortKutz is one of most versatile DJs about where his sets are characterized by bass driven beats spanning Hip-Hop, House & Breaks through to Dubstep & DnB that’s always infused with an infectious rolling groove and huge party vibe.
This versatility has seen him headline numerous events and perform on the main stage at NZ’s biggest festivals over the years. Not just content on touring NZ regularly, pushing the boundaries of his diverse sets, he has taken his sound global spinning in countries as unique as Singapore, the UK and Latvia.
No matter what night or event, expect an electric party vibe of Beats Breaks and Bass when ShortKutz is on the 1’s and 2’s…
