Club Stereo Dub (Amsterdam Rising)

Well, here's a special new track for you about atomic bombs! They can destroy any city! 

Please note: this is work in progress, only the basic voice samples are audible here. In the definitive version I will add more voice- and sound-FX to add to the "drama."

My interpretation and dance version of Nicholas Britells Niamos! Composed for the Star Wars Andor series. Transcription was done by Jeremy Brauns. I just played the notes and added a few of my own. I replaced the original bass line with a one that goes better with the beat. Also added an extra lead sound. Please enjoy!

Fellows Inc - New Beginnings

Slightly upgraded mix to give it more a distinct feel of it's own. The track itself is way different from it's original and kicks off with a tribal like beat, to proceed into a little tour of beats & sounds, towards the (semi) climactic end chords.

In the beginning I decided not to use any strings or pads as a sort of challenge. 

Airburn (Release of Data Mix)

Shortwave started out as a DJ in the early nineties in Amsterdam, where Mazzo turned out to be his favorite venue. As a producer and  DJ he's now specialized in classic house, lounge & triphop and (acid) jazz and funk. Between 1998 and 2003 he also did a weekly radio show on jazz and affiliated music, called Giant Steps.

Having played musical instruments from as young as six years old, soon after he discovered Mazzo (in 1990)  he picked up his first synthesizer and started producing his own tracks. Shortwave has since produced dozens of tracks in a broad variety of styles, ranging from Drum & Bass to Downtempo Ambient. 

Variety is the spice of life!
