Shotplate are a 4-piece electro-pop band from Milton Keynes. After coming together out of different projects, they knew they had to create something weird and wonderful. So, when they found themselves in a beat up Corsa around the back of a McDonald’s talking about their new project potentially being s*** on a hot plate…Shotplate was born. They jam out tracks in their bedroom studios with the intent to blend pulsating synths with punchy guitars for an explosive sound. Their tracks 'Jennifer' and 'Don't Waste Away' have been featured on their local BBC Introducing Show (Northampton), and they're working to drive their sound out there even more so. Their new EP, ‘Heart Shock’ is out now, which you can stream on Spotify along with their previous releases.
