Motohiro Nakashima hails from Fukuyama, a city near Hiroshima. Gathering The Light is his most personal work to date. Combining fingerstyle guitar and ambient instrumentation for emotive minimalist soundscapes, 
the album illustrates the universal search for light in the darkness, beauty in melancholy.
Set on a bed of mesmerising guitar, ‘Reflection’ is a bright, evolving sound poem. Its flutes soar and flutter, 
press warmly through twinkling glockenspiel and guitar arpeggios, as the track bursts into a prog symphony of folk-meets-ambient proportions.
