@Showtym1 - Beez in the Trap Freestyle

“Are you stressed? Do you know the backwards meaning of stressed is desserts? So you can choose, stressed or desserts!”

This is the mantra throughout the latest EP release by Arlington, TX native ShowTym.
 
The EP is an eclectic composition of tracks by Dallas/Ft. Worth’s hottest up and coming producers: SheLoveBass, TSB Whit, 97Krooks, Audio Genius(Dave’s Not Hear & ShowTym), Six 7, Fokus, and Showtym himself. While composing his new album, ShowTym realized that he had songs with no home.  Instead of stressing out where to put these tracks, he put together this EP.
 
The opening song produced by Ft. Worth native SheLoveBass, “Whodi” was actually intended for Wiz Khalifa, however ShowTym staked claim to the song with his opening lyrics, “Mama taught me real, that’s all I know.”
 
All though the EP is 18 minutes long, listening to the Desserts is like listening to a short film. ShowTym’s lyricism and melodies on Desserts, have been described as riding on a smooth roller coaster.  It’s evident if there are arguments discussed on which song is the favorite.
 
Other blogs have stated that “Devil Eyes” produced by Ft. Worth native Fokus , is their favorite. We also have other producers from DFW that recently produced for Eminem’s last EP state that “Piece Pipe”, produced by ShowTym, is their favorite. The ladies response to “Colorado” produced by Audio Genius, has them “feeling some type of way.” Then there’s fundamentalists and 40 Shebib lovers that love “Stressed” by 97Krooks. However, it seems the clear consensus of THE favorite is “What Can I Say” produced by Six 7, who by the way is also from Arlington, TX and has also produced for Splurge.
 
Again, “So you can choose….stressed or desserts”
