So, if you found this through search, you're probably a bit confused.

If you came here because of Homestuck, you're probably wondering who the red guy and the orange person are. If you came here from Undertale, you're probably wondering who the red guy and the blue gal are. Either way, you are almost definitely confused about the red guy.

Toby Fox originally wrote Megalovania as the boss theme to his ROM hack of Earthbound called the Halloween Hack. Then he started working on Homestuck music, and decided to add some guitar and drums to it. More recently, his original game, Undertale, featured an amped-up version of Megalovania as one of the battle themes.

Which brings us right here.

This is an 8-bit remix of the original Halloween Hack version of Megalovania.

If follow me you probably are aware that I posted an 8-bit remix of Megalovania a while ago. That one, however, was the original version, as it appeared in Radiation's Halloween Hack. This one is the Undertale version, and boy HOWDY is it way more hype. I love the original and the Homestuck version, but man... each one serves a different purpose, and serves it damn well.

This was pretty tricky to do!

Back in 2012, (A bit before starting Undertale) Toby Fox worked on an album called "I Miss You - EarthBound 2012," which was basically a love letter to Earthbound. So, I wrote Pursue a long, long time ago, long before I actually put it into famitracker and published it here, and I'm gonna be honest... it's simple. It's good, and I like it, but it's very simple. And, when I posted the original, the simplicity wasn't helped by my limited knowledge and skill with Famitracker.

And so, I wanted to update it. To make a version of Pursue that utilized my current knowledge and skill level as best it could. And, honestly? I'm happy with how it turned out! I kept everything I loved about the original, and then added some Cool And New Tricks to make it feel fresh and just... more exciting. I hope it feels that way for you too! I'd love to hear your feedback.

Pursue REDUX [VRC6 Original]

In the beginning, the universe held many great entities, vast in size and power. 

After time immeasurable, however, these entities were split in two.
  One, a being of true neutrality, split into the gods of Order and of Chaos, locked in a stalemate, waiting for their pawns to move. 
  Another, a being of war and conflict, split into the goddesses of Archery and of Defense, fated as both mortal enemies and dear lovers. 
  Yet another, a being encapsulating the equivalency of all things, was split into a god that became the Universe, and a god that became Destruction. 

Then, after time immeasurable, the gods created People. And now we lie, centuries later, and the ties of these old gods run thick through the universe, even after their severing.

In The Beginning [N163 Original]

Well, this is different, huh?

So, I recently got FL Studio, since I would like to expand my music horizons past purely Famitracker, and this song is the result of me sort of learning how to use it. It's not my best work, but I'm still pretty proud of it! It took me a while to work on, since I was simultaneously learning my way around FL12, but it's pretty darn finished, I'd say!

Some constructive criticism by anyone particularly well-versed in music production would be appreciated!

Fun fact about this track; at first, it was just going to be a soundscape for me to play in the background for my D&D campaign, but I couldn't get Unreasonable Behaviour out of my head, so I thought, why not?

In an effort to upload more often and unblock my creativity a bit, I've decided to start uploading the little loops and unpolished tracks I come up with.

This one's neat, I just got a new software drum synth, Breaktweaker, and it's pretty fun to mess with so far. Came up with a cool, kinda dirty drum loop, built some weird evil music around it. Might end up turning this into a real song one day, but as of now I don't really have anything more to do to it.
