SHTO is a series of unique experimental acoustic open-air events, where the central element is the space between the sound sources and the audience, which is unusually large for musical events — at least 300 metres and more than a kilometre long. In it, ambient music dissolves and takes on new qualities, different from the original, and becomes literally tangible. Powerful sound sources which are far away and located on all sides of the listener create unusual effect — a person perceives music around him as a huge moving sound mass, as if he is a participant of a film or a dream.

Previously, a mix of ready-made tracks was used to give voice to the space. Now, more than fifty songwriters have collaborated on an ambitious collaboration to create a single piece of music based on rave culture.

‘Back in Blue’ is a tribute album - a complete re-recording of AC/DC's classic ‘Back in Black’, featuring leading Australian blues artists. The album was conceived and produced by Darren Griffis, a QLD-based musician whose own life has been touched by depression.
Darren’s love of Aussie blues musicians, and of AC/DC, lead him to the idea of putting the two together to provide some positive outcomes for not only those affected by depression, but also for those at risk of falling victim to it in the future.
Says Griffis of the project:

“We hope to make a change - a lasting change - in the way that depression is regarded and treated by society, and make dealing with depression less intimidating. We believe creating this album is a great way to do this.”
All profits made from the release of the ‘Back in Blue’ album will be donated to Beyond Blue. Beyond Blue is one of the most recognisable avenues of help for depression sufferers and their families. 

'Back In Blue' features tracks by Aussie heavyweights Lloyd Spiegel, Geoff Achison, Gail Page, Lachy Doley, Shaun Kirk, Marshall Okell, Chase The Sun, 8 Ball Aitken and more, and is available online and at all good music retailers from July 19th through Only Blues Music.

1. I’m Amar, a producer and DJ based in Berlin and Vienna.
2. Basically I have three aliases: Ladonna is playing radio shows and producing lush, calm and peaceful ambient music.
Then there is Shomigutsu, which used to be a fun project in the beginning. Over time it got a bit more serious. He’s sometimes playing parties and producing music in the wider genre of Hard Dance. And Donnabeats (new project) is producing for others, mostly melodic Trapbeats (nothing released yet). In all three projects you can hear various influences melting together.
3. Right now I am focussing on collaborations with other talented beat producers from Germany. There is also a Shomigutsu track in production, which will be released in a few weeks on a compilation. Stay tuned! And Ladonna just released an collaborative album with the wonderful Rosaceae on Neoprimitive, a small label from Hamburg.
4. The mix is about finding peace and hope in this chaotic state of mind a lot of people are in at the moment. The fluctuating eclectic selection can make you dream, laugh, cry, but also open up opportunities and free the mind. Listen actively.
