We are honored by the entrance of Endrik Schroeder in the owl family!

We discovered this amazing french artist, two years ago, on Zone, label managed by The Hacker. It was, for the owl, an evidence that Endrik collaborates with her.

So, after several wonderful remixes, we are very happy to present you the first release of our friend Endrik on Mélopée Records. A release that characterizes him perfectly, carried by a cosmic atmosphere and seeming to be inspired by Jean Michel Jarre himself...

The first original "Reboot Robot" is the best summary of Endrik's talent. Everything is here... Perfect cutted rhythm, scatching percussions and the secret of this artist : the beauty of the pads and leads , close your eyes, it's time to go through the milky way !

With "Hypnotron", Endrik proves that he's also able to go outside to his comfort zone. The track breathes new life into house, bringing a celestial environment to this style thanks, once again, to wonderful pads that transport the listener to the depth of his mind.

The trio Leitstrahl complete the release with a perfect vintage remix of "Reboot Robot", more punchy. The soul of the original is preserved but we recognize without a doubt the power of the Italo "Leitstrahl" touch !

To close this amazing release, we are proud to include a remix of "Hypnotron" by the only one ROTCIV ! As soon as the first notes begin, we feel that the trip is going to be fabulous ! Next on Berlin's Renate Schallplatten is Longhair, a project formed by Marko Pelaic and Benedikt Bogenberger, two residents of Berlin's Wilde Renate. Mangostine, a four-tracker, follows last year's 12' on Dutch label Bordello A Parigi and a track contribution on House Is OK. It lands with an Axel Boman remix. The EP opens with the title track, its name drawn from the exotic fruit. Over a brooding bassline we hear light, fluttering melodies and uplifting keys, creating a peak-time roller that'll put smiles on faces across the dancefloor. 'Pans & Pots,' the A2, starts as a darker affair with trippy vocal samples and fluttering drum patterns, before warm keys and intricate instrumentation lift the mood to make for a fun-filled jam peak-hours feel-good jam. On the flip, Studio Barnhus head Axel Boman reworks the title track into a more subtle, deeper cut; the melodies remain but in the background, replaced at the forefront by tribal drums and abstract vocals. Closer 'Aquamen,' meanwhile, opens as a straight-edged techno cut with a heavy bassline and fluttering snares, before playful keys and intermittent sci-fi samples add some texture. It's another late-night jam that'll lift the energy without ever being too forceful. The release is Renate Schallplatten's first since 2017's various artist compilations. Earlier EPs have landed from Moscoman, Sebastian Voigt, Wareika, and more.

Exclusive: Panthera Krause - Birthday Club (Theo Kottis Remix)

Riotvan co-label head Panthera Krause released his highly acclaimed debut album It's A Business Doing Pleasure With You one year ago but the music has not outgrown its momentum but become more suitable than ever. Robert's music – Panthera Krause's real name – simply covers what the world mostly is missing a fortiori at the moment: joy and happiness. The latter is continued with five remixes for the album coming from Rebolledo, Shubostar, Fango, Peter Invasion & Gregor Habicht and Scotsman Theo Kottis, who's known for writing intriguing melodies. His approach of Birthday Club apparently features one of the artist's lush bass lines in combination with vibrant and wobbling disco-esque chords that burn into one's mind like Robert's passionately flaming original version did a year ago. Happy Birthday it's a pleasure listening.
