“Thriving Without Me” starts at the lowest moment of my life — a night I wasn’t sure I’d survive — and ends with something I never thought I’d be able to say again: "still alive"

The song is about the people I once made music with… the friends who told me my writing wasn’t good enough, the ones who drifted away, and the ones who went on to make it big while I was still trying to put myself back together.

It’s a song about betrayal, loss, resilience, and the slow climb back to finding my voice after everyone else had already moved on.
