Banoffee Pies drop their annual Record Store Day release with BPRSD003. The A side brings re decoration from Bristol local Lord Leopard with an edit on Kadidiatou Samakes - Eyaye. A head nodding afro jam as spring sets upon us. Smell the flowers. The flip sees an 11 minute Hansel! edit of the Nuyorican Soul classic “It’s Alright, I feel it!” killer dance floor track with it’s well known sing along vocal.

The exact story behind the track started with a searching for an authentic and unknown vocal sample I could use and destroy. This vocal sample is authentic but not unknown at all - actually it was used by dj's like Ricardo Villalobos and many more.

Nevertheless! It has a very catchy groove and in the end I wanted to create something between funny and powerful that I would laugh and dance to in the club like.. Mate, that funny thing is made by me.
