Pillars is the debut of album of Shutter influenced by the themes of space and communication and recorded by Andy Miller (Mogwai, De Rosa, Life Without Buildings) at Chem19 studios.

Shutter have played with the likes of The Deftones, Pelican, 65 Days of Static, Gallows, Aereogramme, Red Sparowes as well as appearing at the likes Belladrum Festival, Rockness and performing a Radio 1 session for Vic Galloway and airplay on BBC6 Music from Tom Robinson.
