I've had this one recurring dream for most of my life. And I wanted to base this whole album around the chronological order of that dream.

Recurring Dreams was a labor of love, taking just over 2 years to finish. The vision behind it was to push the envelope in regards to the marriage of instrumentalism and melody, with experimental sound design and heavy bass. There is an immense range throughout the project, from dark and heavy tunes, to the beautiful and ethereal side, I wanted it to encompass the full range of emotion.

A dark and foreboding granulated hiss and eerie vocal sample begin this monolithic halftime head-nodder. Followed by a congregation of angelic vocals before flowing into a serpent-like grainy bass frequency. A lazy procession of gigantic proportions trail us with a consistent simplicity. There’s nothing too complicated about this track, but that doesn’t mean it won’t overtake you all the same.

From the outset, a thunderous leap into this unusual composition puts one ill at ease. Shrill synthesizers twist and swivel through into schizoid beat-patterned formations. The guitar and strings in the midsection create a golden ray of hope in an otherwise dark track. While an aggressive rage roars throughout this track, there are moments within that glisten and hint at the sorrow that lies deep beneath the surface of betrayal.
