Dan Walker aka cousin dan has been engulfed in dance music for a number of years, collecting music, running parties and playing in various clubs across the UK. Dan brings a lot of depth to the dance floor with a variety of sounds inspired by 90s -early 00s to current variations of modern techno.

Shy bairns is a strong community of young people, primarily based around music, fashion and the arts located in Newcastle Upon Tyne. We throw parties, take photos, DJ, and just have fun along the way. 

Shy Bairns was originally set up to document youth culture throughout the pandemic as a lockdown project. We attended many illegal raves and house parties capturing it all on film. The name Shy Bairns comes from the Geordie phase “Shy Bairns Get Nowt” which means (Shy kids get nothing in life)
